Communication
Communication between staff, parents, and students is extremely important to us!
You can expect to receive a "Monday Message" email each Monday throughout the year from Mrs. Lisa Berhorst, principal. This email will contain dates to remember, as well as other important information, typically found in a newsletter. In addition to email, we sometimes send texts, use apps (listed below), and post on social media to keep our families well-informed.
It is in your best interest to have both of these apps to stay connected with your child’s classroom teacher and school!

Teachers will use the Seesaw app to communicate with parents. Please download this now. It is very important to have as this is how you will get important information from your child’s teacher, as well as, school-wide announcements/reminders. Teachers are also able to post pictures of what is happening in the classroom.

The FACTS Family app is another important app to have. It has many tabs within it, but a few to highlight are:
Billing - takes you to the financial portal to pay your lunch account, daycare, etc.
Grades - allows you to check your 5-8th grader’s grades
Lunch - view our menu
Resource Docs - copies of important documents such as school supply lists, school calendars, waivers, etc.

On Facebook, our public page, Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, will have pictures of all the amazing things going on in our school.

Facebook Private Group
Once you are a registered school parent we also have a private Facebook page you can join, Blessed Sacrament Moms and Dads Group, where parents can ask questions of one another.

Academic Apps for Students

Students will utilize IXL throughout the year for homework assignments and extended learning opportunities. You may access IXL from the app or website.
