Our reading day on Wednesday was a lot of fun.  I think all of the children had a good time.  They all were very good.  The books and centers were great and they really liked the vet with all of the fun animals.  I hope it is something they will remember for a long time.

I cannot believe we are in our last week of school.  It has been a wonderful year.  I loved having your children in my room this year.  I think we have made great progress.  Please review with your child over the summer so that they do not lose what we have learned.  Read as often as you can and review the other things that we have covered.

I will be sending home pages of our class books that we made together, the ABC book that we worked on all year, the memory book that has work from each month, and the journals that we have been using all year.  Hopefully you will see a big improvement from the beginning of the year.

If you have any library books, little readers from the plastic bags, or any other materials that belong to school could you please return them.  May book forms can be turned in for the last treat of the year.

Thursday morning we will be doing some end of the year cleaning in our room and the children will be bringing home their materials.  Thursday afternoon we will be watching a movie with the 1st and 2nd graders.  Friday is the school picnic at K of C grounds.  It will be a very fun day!
