          21    -     Last day of School – dismiss at 11:30a.m. – NO Bus service at dismissal

                             Report cards sent home to those who are paid in full

 

MARKET DAY – Make sure you take a look at the June order form enclosed.  Lots of great deals to start your summer off right!!!  Some terrific clearance item prices on the back of the order form – don’t miss out!!  FREE GRILLING SAUCE to all orders over $40!  We congratulate our winner this month – Sandy Cann – who will receive $15 off her June order!  Thanks for your support of Market Day all year long – funds go directly to help with our Technology Lab.

DOGWOOD PARADE – Thanks to everyone who walked in the parade.  We had a wonderful turn out.  Our shirts and spirit really promoted Catholic education and our pride in our school.  There were many compliments about how many people represented Blessed Sacrament!

 

SCHOOL PICNIC – Information is enclosed in this week’s family envelope.  Keep it on hand!  Please call the school office to sign up for a half hour shift or two that day.  This is the final day to get any hours in for your service hours.  If it rains there will be a message on the school phone by 8a.m. letting you know if it is being postponed. The rain date is scheduled for May 20th.

 

QCES MAGNETS – These continue to be on sale through the school office for only $5.  Support Catholic Schools and display one on your car!  Get one for family and friends....let’s spread the word about Catholic Schools.

 

OLYMPIC DAY - This was a success as usual and fun was had by all!  A BIG thanks to all who donated items for the raffle.  We truly wouldn’t be the great school we are without the support of our wonderful families!!

 

BUILDERS CLUB – Builders Club will be selling cardboard boy & girl cut outs for Cystic Fibrosis.  Each boy or girl cut out is $1.00.  Please help support Cystic Fibrosis!!

 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL REGISTRATION HAS BEGUN – JUNE 21-25 – A blue registration form was sent home last week in your family envelope for students in preschool through 5th grade.  There is a morning session and evening session.  It’s a lot of fun for the kids and it’s only $10 for 1 child, $15 for two children, and $25 for 3 or more!  Get your children signed up today, space is limited.  Registration ends May 26th.  More forms available in school office.  You must register to ensure there are materials for your child.

 

END OF YEAR – LAST DAY OF SCHOOL – Friday, May 21st – dismiss at 11:30a.m. there is no bus service at this time.

FINAL BILLS AND ENVELOPE – These will be sent home TUESDAY, MAY 18TH!  Students may eat free on May 20th.  Report cards will be sent home with students on Friday, May 21st if bills are paid in full.

 

SERVICE HOUR SHEETS – The green Service Hour sheets for the 4th quarter are enclosed in this week’s family envelope.  Please write down your hours completed during the 4th quarter.  If you sign up to work at the school picnic, those hours may be included.  Just a reminder you will be billed $10 for each hour not completed.  A total of 10 hours is required per family.
